Joe has a masters degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a certificate in life coaching from the American Association of Christian Counselors.
He brings with him a rich background in coming alongside individuals of all ages who feel stuck and helping them move forward with their lives. During his military career, Joe coached his troops and counseled students in the ROTC.
Since leaving the military, he has worked extensively as a chaplain and mental health specialist with troubled teenagers, first responders, veterans, and their families helping them with issues related to grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, and adjusting to life changes.
He combines personal warmth, wit, and humor with the ability to reframe circumstances and explore new possibilities. In his free time, Joe enjoys hunting, hiking, building custom furniture, and sports- particularly hockey. Joe and his wife of 30 years have two grown daughters and one beautiful granddaughter.
